The Vanished Days is a prequel to The Winter Sea. It goes back in time to the 1680s and introduces the reader to the Moray and Graeme families. EadieB Adam Williamson is assigned to investigate and to decide if she's telling the truth. The chapters switch back and forth from the 1680's and 1707. Kearsley has done excellent research. The surprise ending is an interesting plot twist. If you like historical tales of adventure, endurance, romance and hope, then you will enjoy this book.
