Due mainly to some active hiding away w/a book rather than engaging w/others beyond Litsy. Some great books/audio books including my above 3 best of the month & The Library at Mount Char, Gulp, Stiff, & In the Blue Hour. I knocked 5 off my initial November TBR stack & hit my Goodreads goal this month too. 📚❤️👍

This is my son Zander & our puppy Annie. On those wonderful rare occasions my son will sit in bed next to me & we'll both read. Annie, when she's gotten rid of her energy occasionally sits on my lap while I read.

I think this is a wonderful thing to do. I'm in Australia, so we don't have Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for my husband who got me into reading when we first started dating. I didn't really read much as a kid, but came to love reading when my hubby introduced me to some fantasy books; The Belgariad, which I love & will always give me warm fuzzies.

I've had this one on my TBR for a while. I find dysfunctional hard to identify as a specific genre as I think most families are dysfunctional in some way. Also most books I read are fantasy/scifi so it's not really a focus.

For today's #photoadaynov.. #readinginbed is quite possibly my favorite. I was amazed at how many people said they don't or rarely read in bed.. I love it! It's where I feel safest, warmest and most comfortable and usually have my pups in bed with me just adding to my comfort and feelings of safety..and this bookmark truly defines my struggle with every book that I'm sure ALL of you suffer from as well!
