Thanks for the #Two4Tuesday tag @TheSpineView
1️⃣ After grade school I was hit or miss. If liked the subject (English, writing, History) I was good but if I wasn‘t interested (Math) I didn‘t apply myself & was not great!
2️⃣ I loved the Finishing School series & Mademoiselle Geraldine‘s Finishing Academy for Young Ladies of Quality seems like a fun school to learn useful skills like espionage, poisoning & proper curtsies.

1. I was the student that actually liked doing homework…and then I decided I liked school so much I went to graduate school. So yeah, a pretty good student.
2. The tagged book is one of my all time favorite YA books by one of my all time favorite authors with one of my all time favorite covers (which I once had a very memorable conversation about with Dan Santat).
@TheSpineView
1) I went to Catholic schools K-12 and I was an average student. I did better in college and graduated summa cum laude from Colorado State University.
2) I tagged my favorite book and I am wondering if it counts because Holden technically just got kicked out of high school.

1. High school was decent, but college and grad school was much better!
2. Tagged

1. I was a decent student
2. The tagged book will always hold a special place in my heart!
I tag anyone who wants to play!
1) I was until junior high when my family moved, and I went from a school where trying hard and doing well were cool to a school where doing those things got you targeted by bullies. So I hid out for a few years, then when we moved again in high school to another high-caliber school district, it took me a while to rebuild my skills. I still did decently through high school and college.
2) A classic.

1. I was a good student, obviously I liked to read :)
2. Enjoyed this, Rachel is a college student that works in a bookstore - living the dream.

Thanks for the tag, @TheSpineView! 🤗
1. Not to brag, but I was pretty good in high school; I graduated 3rd in my class of over 600 students (thank goodness, for I would have hated to give a speech!). But then I discovered college and was legally okay to drink at the age of 18, so partying interfered with my scholastic abilities for a while. 🤣
2. My students loved the tagged book! Who wouldn't want to kill their English teacher? 🤩
1. I was a great student in elementary and middle school. OK in HS, with the added bonus that I moved from DR to RI on my senior year and was so far advanced in the curriculum that I took mostly electives 🙌🏽 Did well in college
2. This has been one of my fave reads this year, and the MCs meet in college.
