Wow, I think I liked this even more than Dark Matter! The 1st half was a little bogged down by the science of what created FMS, but around pg 200 the action & suspense ratchets up & this mind-bender ultimately shows how humans can take a good thing & use it for cataclysmic disaster. Face-meltingly scary stuff. How willing are we to accept pain in life with the good? Are we really living if we have "cheat codes"? This needs to be a film! 4⭐️s!??
Day 21 of the #Fallisbooked challenge by @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks and @OriginalCyn620
#tricks makes me think of magic which makes me think of the Kate Daniels series which makes me think of one of the greatest introductions for a character ever in an urban fantasy series, when Kate met Curran!
CURRAN - “What kind of a woman greets the Beast Lord with ‘here, kitty, kitty‘?”
KATE - “One of a kind.”
I am furiously reading Catch and Kill, both in the sense that I‘m reading it quickly and it is making me furious. So many #tricks were done to try to keep this story from coming out, including by NBC News leaders. I‘m not watching that network for news again as long as those leaders stay in power. Review coming soon. #FallisBooked
