pickI started this yesterday as I was needing distraction and it proved captivating enough to steal me away for a bit. Today, with a certain reveal in the narrative I was a little triggered and upset but it is a beautiful story.
I did expect the "twist" at the end, but still, give it a thumbs up. Various things did make me question if I was right.
“I think when two people really love each other...way down deep...like where the souls sleep and dreams happen, where pain can't live 'cause there's nothing for it to feed on...then a wedding is a bleeding together of those two souls. Like two rivers running together. All that water becoming the same water. Mine did that.”

After a plane chase the two survivors must endure effrontery in the Colorado mountains. Enjoyed the book but didn't see the movie. The plot was believable and the characters were well done.

You are probably wondering why I picked this book for the prompt "fly away". My first thought was fly as in airplanes and my next thought was, what goes up must come down. Hence this book since the characters exit the sky in such a dramatic way. Really good book by the way.
Once they were released from their #peril it was impossible for them to be apart.

This should be titled “The sickness between us and the mountains!” So I‘m a little better today and we decided to head on to the mountains, but my daughter woke up with a sore throat and went to the local clinic and has flu A and B 😥 I am back home now taking care of her. She may be 18, but she‘s still my baby 👶🏻❤️ Please pray for her, she‘s never sick 🙏🏻
