REHOMING 📚 I need to make some room on my shelves so I'm giving away books! If you would like me to send anything in this stack to you, please comment below. *US only per my postal budget 🙏
I found out about this “Groundhog Day” version of Pride & Prejudice on Litsy. I‘ve read a lot of retellings & really liked this one. Elizabeth has to repeat the day of the Netherfield Ball, but she doesn‘t know why. Her attempts to change the events of the ball are funny.
I'm sooooooooooo behind on Litsy everything but for a good reason: May was packed with travel, and the most important part of it was visiting Jane Austen's House in Chawton. 😍😍😍 A true Janeite dream come true, especially in this epic 250th birthday year.
I was debating whether or not to give this 3.5 or 4 stars. I finally decided on 4 because the story was so clever!
This was my third Jane Austen novel. Previously, I had read Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility and enjoyed both of them.
My immediate impression of this book was that it was hilarious.

Gorgeous cover or what? It has Sense and Sensibility (which I currently am reading), Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park, Northanger Abbey, and Persuasion.
If you're an Austen fan, let me know which of the six you love best!
(Excuse me for not posting for a while, I was busy with family in town)
