An affable lowlife wakes up after a night of drinking to the sight of a man with a deer head driving a Jeep. He has no memory of the night before, and quickly gets caught up in the strange town. Is it a bad trip, or something real? #comicscount

My last read before midnight.
This is another excellent collection in this series and now I must get my hands on Volume 5. 😁

This just keeps getting better and better! We're brought right into the story from the previous volume. More backstory is revealed, and Erica continues to be a badass taking care of things.
And let me just say that the artwork in this series is phenomenal and tells a story all on its own.
Stumbled upon episodes of The Muppet Show on Disney+ Halloween episodes last night. This one, featuring Vincent Price, was hilarious (any my 30 something year old daughter didn't know who he was!!) Anyway, we were really enjoying the crazy jokes and everything else. This was right after we watched several episodes of The Addams Family - including one where little Wednesday (in black & white) did the Wednesday dance! Such a fun night! @PuddleJumper
Wasted all my time
Waiting for the main event
Turns out there was none

UGH! This was written in 2020, so maybe when we were all home doing nothing, this was RIVETING. I am so disappointed. I may give the author another shot, because some of his other comics look interesting, but then again, so did this one 🙃 But I promise if they aren't going anywhere after the first volume, I will DNF faster than green grass through a goose.
4 ⭐ Volume five picks up where we left off in book 3 but also starts with a new story. Erica is on her own in a new town. We meet Gabby a girl whose family has just been bloody ripped apart. She is a gal with sass and attitude who likes to break every rule she can. And she‘s not happy that she‘s not getting her way after everyone has died. Erica now has a tail of her own who is there to assassinate her.
5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I finally get the background I have been wanting. Volume four takes us back in time where we find Erica and the first monster she ever encountered. We find her mentor who welcomes her into the society as well as all the missing information we have needed about the society. It‘s inner workings, the masks, the colors, all of it. Out of all the books in the series, this one went by the fastest.
4.5 ⭐ Volume three marks the ending of this current fight. The monsters die but more questions still abound. Saint George sent a team to not help per se, more to take over and annihilate the town so no one can talk about the monsters. Erica slaughter is not going to let that happen. She is going to do the job she came to do in the way she means to do it. And Tommy is going to sacrifice himself so that the rest of the town can live.
I‘m enjoying the new direction the series is taking a year after the first arc!
