When I search for authors my age, J.K. Rowling & Nicholas Sparks pop up first, but I‘m going with Viola Davis for today‘s #ByAuthorYourAge prompt. She‘s an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) winner & her memoir (tagged) is in my Audible TBR (hopefully #Roll100 will push me to read it this year) & she has a children‘s book spinoff of Corduroy the bear.

Faranae Here's a list of authors born the same year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1965_in_literature May I suggest Eoin Colfer? He also writes children's and YA fantasy fiction, and he's not a bigot campaigning to erase my existence. If you haven't read him, you'd probably enjoy his work if you enjoy HP! Perhaps this is a chance to explore new-to-you authors.

Much older, but Diane Duane wrote magic school books and is a lovely person. 9mo

Many memories in 1950sThunderbolt are mine, One Summer was a fascinating, well researched history centered on happenings around 1927. At Home is about the development & innovations, inspired by the Victorian parsonage where his family was living in England.
