See, there was a reason beyond being poor I never went on a French class trip to Paris!! 😰
A recent read but I‘d rate it a 3.0 out of 4. Reasons: Surface crush was an unless character. Adds nothing & currently sports an unattractive military skinhead.🧑🦲 Beyond that it is scary but it could have been much better; the premise ended up being in the realm of ridiculous.

This one goes a little off the rails in the last 25%, and a couple of the relationship details don't always make emotional sense to me, but I did enjoy Golden's take on the "offer too good to be true" haunted house trope. The audiobook narrators each did an excellent job, but the switch between the two voices could have been a little more seamless with different engineering, I think.
I finished my first #aardvarkbookclub pick and my first book here in Virginia. It was okay; not great but not terrible. Thankfully my new home is not haunted or possessed.😁

Current lake read. At least last summer‘s trip to Sicily to see my husband‘s family didn‘t involve rats? #amreading #vacation
Waiting for my sister to pick me up at the grocery store. Thankfully there‘s a Starbucks with seating.
