Having been warned about the anti trans sentiments in this book I‘m choosing to send it back without reading.

I have been wanting to read this for a long time….going to try a chapter every so often and get it down. I‘m close to my crone era.

I‘ve found myself to be in the position recently needing to downsize my personal library. While taking some books to Half Price Books, I came across this gem among the stacks. It doesn‘t count if I buy it using the money earned from selling books, right!? 😅

I‘ve loved John O‘Donohue‘s writing in the past. His book of blessings (To Bless the Space Between Us) always has something rich and meaningful to offer, and I‘ve often come across quotations from O‘Donohue‘s work that are exactly what I need when they cross my path. So I had high expectations for this one, having had it on my TBR for some time.
O‘Donohue offers an exploration of Celtic spirituality as he examines friendship, the senses, ⤵️

My knowledge of Welsh is sufficient to help me appreciate the beauty of the poetry. I don‘t know enough to pick out many words (maybe I would have done a tiny bit better with modern Welsh), but it was fun to recognize a word here and there! Mostly I enjoyed the earliest known reference to King Arthur.

Thank you so much @MittenGirlPeach for this wonderful box! My littles tried to take off with the cookies immediately. I cannot wait to start reading.
