I was struggling with #pop22 #characterontheacespectrum so researched characters last night. Benedict Cumberbatch says that in the BBC version Sherlock is asexual, so going with it even though I ship Johnlock.

This was a fun listen, even though I could see the plot ‘twists‘ coming a mile off. (Actually there was one I didn‘t see)? It was light and fluffy, great for audio but I think it may have annoyed me a bit had I read the physical book.

I had to fast-forward the sex scenes though as they were just eeewwww!

Cortg She really likes to lay the sex scenes on thick! I just listened to a novella, ok, but I‘m probably done with this author. Not my go-to but it was nice to change things up a bit. 2y

alisiakae I think the reason I enjoyed it so much was finally having some demisexual rep, but I agree, there were some parts that annoyed me as well. 2y

squirrelbrain Oh I definitely enjoyed it @4thhouseontheleft but I think the written word would have been annoying. I much prefer this kind of book on audio, almost as background if that isn‘t disrespectful to the author. Yes, apart from audio sex scenes! @KarenUK ☺️ 2y
