Librarybelle I was definitely thinking about Jane Eyre and poor Bertha! It actually made me think more of that whole situation versus any other Holmes‘ stories. now

Librarybelle Yeah, just odd. I‘m not sure why Holmes wanted to protect Lady Hilda and yet not mention that security is a bit lax for important political correspondence. now

Librarybelle This did seem a bit convoluted, and the whole “steal one letter to get another letter” scheme seems a bit flimsy. I think Conan Doyle was really sick of these stories. 😂 now

Librarybelle This was another one that is not as suspenseful as other stories in the collection. It was just okay for me, not one of my favorite stories. now

I was struggling with #pop22 #characterontheacespectrum so researched characters last night. Benedict Cumberbatch says that in the BBC version Sherlock is asexual, so going with it even though I ship Johnlock.
