Little Vietnamese Ckbk 95 Ed | Chronicle Books, Terry Tan
post image

My finished Canh Bun Tau (Vietnamese Fish & Noodle Soup) with the tiny cookbook the recipe was from. The book was a stocking stuffer from my mom years ago with a Thai & Chinese one.💙But I digress... this was a simple soup, brothy & good. I added/adapted a few things to what I had or prefer. It hit the spot today with the garlic, ginger, turmeric & citrus & is quicker/easier than a good pho. Link to recipe is below.

Texreader It looks for good! 3y
DebinHawaii @Texreader It was good. Maybe a bit mild as is but when I added more citrus & some chili paste. 👍 3y
Nute Oh, my gosh! That looks sooo good. I think that I could eat that all day long for several days back to back.😋 3y
Butterfinger I'm impressed with your talent. 3y

Die Therapie: Psychothriller | Sebastian Fitzek

I bought these two books today and will definitely read them📚📚📚

Write to the comments if you guys have to say something about these books ;) I really want to know your feelings while reading them 😯

Buechersuechtling It‘s a bit sad that I have to say that both of them, I only found okay. Fitzek definitely is one of my “must-read”-authors but I also figured out kind of a personal pattern concerning me and his books: One that is really gripping is usually followed by one I only find mediocre. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 3y
LittleMoon Oh😯 I‘ve wanted to read a book by Sebastian Fitze for a long time, but I also think that his books are a little bit overrated :/ 3y

For whoever reads this and is kind enough to care, i want to say that i don't read as much as others but do like and i give a lot of thought to the things that i read. I consider every aspect of things like ; the characters, the way they are developed or how they behave according to the circumstances, the setting ofcourse, the story and so on. For now i want to keep this simple, i love the "divine comedy" of Dante.

L'animale morente | Philip Roth
Mehso-so

the expectations were very high but I do not know if they were fully satisfied.
the simple but ambiguous plot tells the story of a sex-obsessed professor who falls in love with Consuela. love ? I'm not sure. Consuela is the impersonation of his obsession and perhaps it is this that binds David.

live? how? sacrificing as Pauline? surviving as Lazarus? or tending to do it without a like, without a way, simply as a Chanteau?

and it is precisely on this that E.Zola urges us to reflect.

☆☆☆☆\☆☆☆☆ recommended novel.

Vivere ? In che modo?
Sacrificandosi come Paolina? Sopravvivendo come Lazzaro?

Guerra e pace | Lev Nikolaevi? Tolstoj
Pickpick

Davvero consigliato!
