AshleyHoss820 @IamIamIam I personally am rereading books because I‘m a psychopath. But I know a lot of people are crossing off books they‘ve read previous to knowing about The List! Also, there‘s an app! (I have an iPhone. I don‘t know if droids have it yet or not...) It‘s $5, but it‘s saved me a LOT of headache when I visit a bookstore! 😊 (edited) 6y

AshleyHoss820 @IamIamIam Haha! Probably a little of both! Casual approach sounds good! I‘ve found a lot of books that I love now and I wouldn‘t have even known about them without the list! In the case of Infinite Jest, I was too intimidated before, but the list pushed me to actually read it and now it‘s one of my favorite books. 😊 Have fun!!! (edited) 6y

Though this series has become my favorite & I have read all 7 books & am anxiously waiting the next installment to come out next August!!! Hope you both love it as much as I do!!!

DivaDiane I listened to this one too, but it was read by a British Actress, and she was horrible (mispronouncing names and places and English words constantly). It took me a very long time to finish it, but I persevered and enjoyed the book itself quite a bit. All I can do is recommend listening to the American Man read it (name is above)! (edited) 6y

Peppermints in the Parlor | Barbara Brooks Wallace

I love this book! I wish I could read it over and over again with selective amnesia. It‘s not really a Christmas book, but I‘ve reread it every year around that time. If you haven‘t read it it‘s a very fun children‘s fiction book.

Call me crazy, but if I had to pick one book for #feelslikethefirsttime I would pick one of my favorite books growing up, The Evil Twin 😆. It's my favorite Sweet Valley book and also is Christmas themed, so I try to read it once a year in December. Yes, I am a total nerd. Runner up would be my favorite book, Gone With the Wind. My friend found him in the bushes at Starbucks when he was a baby and the vet said he was malnourished and will always be small. It's like having a perpetual teenage kitten in the house, he's so adorable! 😻 6y

Pride and Prejudice | Jane Austen

Earlier this year I broke P&P by reading it too often. Not physically, but still. For the first time instead of being sucked into the story, I'd start a chapter and think, 'Chapter 34... This is going to be good.' And the magic was gone. I'd love to get it back #feelslikethefirsttime

night_shift I'm rereading these sporadically with my daughter and while they're still good and it's nostalgic, it's not quite as magical as the first time, which sucks 😔 great choice though! 6y
