Trials of Apollo, Book Three: The Burning Maze | Rick Riordan

I'm trying to read this book but Rick Riordan's writing had gotten quite insufferable in this book. He tries to keep up with Apollo being vain but takes it too far and tries to combine that with the humour in Percy Jackson which just didn't work. It feels like it's dragging on and on.

Ending my Friday evening with some historical fiction based around the effects of the attempted assimilation of Native American children into white American culture in the late 1800s. I'm starting it tonight as I'm on a blog book tour for it next week.
