I both read and listened to this book.
It was really good! It was engaging and horrible at the same time. It was a mixture of Handmaid's Tale with Lord of the Flies. This is my favorite read for this month. 4 ⭐️

Maggie4483 Hi @vonnie862! Just wanted to let you know I'm almost done with your book, and should have it in the mail to you by the end of the week. I didn't get it until the 20th, and I'm in the middle of a month+ without a day off. I'm reading every chance I get, though, and only have about 50 pages left. I'll let you know when I send it! The Witch and the Vampire | Francesca Flores

so-so

The beautiful cover caught my attention. The story was okay: A Rapunzel retelling where a vampire and a witch were enemies but were not always so. It had more potential but it felt a little flat for me. However, the audio production was well done. 3 ⭐️

This was a pretty sweet second chance historical/mystery/paranormal romance. Eve never forgave Lucien for missing their wedding, but when she needs his help to rid her house of some amorous ghosts, she learns a lesson about human frailty and forgiveness.

A great #FinalStretch read -- I got 3270 #Scarathlon points!
