scripturient We love the Gruffalo and, even more, The Gruffalo's Child. I was eyeing the Scots version of both this weekend when I was in Edinburgh but then figured that I don't really need them as my son only really speaks German and a few bits of English. Then again, I could buy them for myself... Not that I really speak the language - would love to learn though. I saw an Irish book in one of your other posts. Are Irish and Scottish Gaelic similar at all? 7y

He bought that book for our granddaughter to start her learning Irish. Cogito ! What a great name! I'll be back to you 7y
