Taken from his Collected Short Stories collection, the story is narrated in the first person by an unnamed narrator - with themes of perception, gender roles, hope, independence, connection, identity, fear and self-importance.

Not a book, exactly...but a script which was based on a book. This production was another Verdon/Fosse collaboration (not a #HappyCouple, to say the least), and it garnered Verdon her third Tony award. #NewInTheTitle #AuldLangReads #NewYearNewYou #seemoretheatre
