I‘ve never listened to the books before and it‘s been a while since I read them so I figured, what the heck! The surprising thing is the original pronunciations that were adjusted for the movies (and maybe in later books?) For example, Voldemort (pronounced without the T), Firenze (pronounces with the E at the end), and Rubeus (pronounced Roo-bay-ess). #learnsomethingneweveryday

ShananigansReads @Macker11 target has some little 79 cent cups that I like. I‘ve tired a bunch of other things but they work the best for me. Do you use paramount crystals or anything to thin your chocolate? Consistency is important. 5y

Macker11 I use coconut oil to thin it. Hmm maybe I need to look for those cups! I always use like a beer glass and melt the chocolate pour it in and it‘s a pain! 5y

ReadingOver50 @4thhouseontheleft I am a phone operator at a large hotel/casino. Operators for hotels and hospitals are referred to as PBX, I think because of the system used and the number of lines coming in. 7y

Murder in Mayfair: An Atlas Catesby Mystery | D M Quincy

I thought the set-up on this book was a little far-fetched but a quick search revealed that wife sales were indeed a thing in #Regency #England. #LearnSomethingNewEveryDay

The tone was a little too serious/angsty for me, but the protagonist's extended family promises some interesting future books and the history is intriguing.

Favorite character: protagonist's mathematician sister.
