OMG! I am so so glad that we did this as a buddy read! This has been on my TBR for a along time.. I had always been interested in it and thought I would enjoy it... But I am so so glad that I read it because.. well it was amazing!!! I need to get my hands on the movie (I have never seen it! So I know I am in for a huge treat -- husband had requested I focused on this one because he wanted to re-watch it with me)

Chrissyreadit One of my favorite books of all time! I saw it on Broadway when I was 16 and still listen regularly to the music. 4y

ElizaMarie @Chrissyreadit I have never head any of the music! And I keep hearing everyone talk about how great the musical is. And who great the movie was and everything! I am excited to find it streaming somewhere so my husband and I can do a “virtual“ date with this one! 4y

ElizaMarie @mom2bugnbee ooo good to know! I am like polar opposites with my family. I was a veracious reader as a child and loved dance/theatre but they were never really into it. So I lack a lot of those experiences as a kid (other than being in ballet and performing ballet type stories -- NutCracker) I hope when the world opens up I can see it on Broadway. 4y

Alice looks how I feel after finally finishing this book! I have to say, I didn't love it. While I enjoyed some of the character story lines I found most of the writing tedious and slightly rambling. I can appreciate it as a classic but not one of my favourites. #classics2020 #catsoflitsy #lesmiserables #readlesmis2020

I finished Cosette. Gonna wait till May (or late April to get to the next part since I'm doing the #ReadingWithTBRCrew Buddy Read.

I am really enjoying this though. I think I prefer reading it rather than listening (but I listened to all of Cosette during my cross country drive). I will go back to using the Kindle.
