It took me a little while to get into this one, as I felt held at a distance from the characters. Once I got into it I really enjoyed it though. It‘s a little slow paced, but I felt like it was a great family story, with complications.

This is definitely a plot driven book & I NEED character development. I thought this book took forever to get going. I struggled to connect with the characters. I did love Nana & the rhymes used to explain different elements in the story. This is probably just not a good match for me. ⭐⭐💫 #catsoflitsy #catsy #littenskittens.

This is a book about a woman writing a book about a woman writing a book. Sound confusing? Well, it was. It was a unique format that I struggled to follow & the inclusion of letters from a fan often broke my concentration & took me out of the story. I think people will be really divided on this one. I can see how some people would love it & how it might not work for others. ⭐⭐⭐ Also, Cow-cow refused to move. #Catsoflitsy #catsy #littenskittens

Jemgirl2014 I stopped after maybe the first chapter. I felt disconnected from the plot because of the story within a story thing. Which is weird because I really enjoyed “The Plot”. I guess I think the author executed the technique better in that book. 3y
