I loved this! I especially enjoyed the little side chapters regarding scientific and abstract concepts and how they relate to love. And the cover...I actually like it more now that I've read the book. I can see what they were trying to get across with it. A definite must-read for all the fellow hopeless romantics out there. #LitsyAtoZ #LetterS Could I use this for the #LitsyReadingChallenge for the #LRC7 (About Immigration)?? WTH, I'm using it!

I finished this one on audio today while I was on a walk at a nearby national park (where I took the photo). It would have been a five star read for me if it weren't for the ending! This is my book #aboutimmigration #LRC7 for the #LitsyReadingChallenge @jessica

shawnmooney This is one of my favorite novels. I hope she writes another one someday! 7y

I know there are still TWO days left in March...however I'm currently in middle of 4 books and none will fill the remaining boxes so it's safe to assume this is how my #LitsyReadingChallenge looks after 3 months😊Loving this challenge @jessica

#LRC7 #aboutimmigration #mountTBR I loved Adichie's writing and was sad to see the book end. About the ending... did anyone love it? I found it a bit lacklustre and am trying to put my finger on why that is.

Bibliogeekery That picture! 😍 8y
Kimzey There was plenty to like about the book, but I agree about the ending. It was disappointing. 8y
Notafraidofwords It felt so rushed ! 8y
mllemay Yeah, I agree about the ending. For me, it was partly that the love stories were not my favorite parts of the book and and the ending was all about resolving her guy problems... I was hoping for a more powerful message somehow, if that makes sense? 8y

This has been the #audiobook keeping me company on my beautiful evening walks the last couple of days. I don't tend to listen to a lot of fiction, but I'm really enjoying hearing the different voices in this one.
