This book covers everything to do with novel writing.

It's ideal for beginners, such as myself because you get to learn the basics but also for more experienced writers looking to keep their skills sharp.

The chapters cover different aspects of novel writing and can be read in the order that interests the reader.

I've read a few similar books, this one is the best.

Reggie Are you gonna write a book? 1y
TheNeverendingTBR @Reggie I've been wanting to do it for years, procrastinating though! 🙃 Trying to get a better idea on it before starting. I've spoken to numerous authors who say I should just dive into it. I think I'll give it a try this year, I've a couple of ideas. 1y

Hello #WritersofLitsy! Who‘s participating in #Nanowrimo? If you haven‘t already, drop by the Litsy Campers writing group on the Nano site to say hello & tell us about your project! For any other #WrimosofLitsy out there who are interested there are still a few spots available. Comment here if you‘d like an invite! #Nanowrimo2021

julesG Thanks for the tag. I'm not doing NaNoWriMo this time. Fingers crossed for all of who are typing away busily this year. 2y
CrowCAH Thanks for rounding us up! This year, I‘m not an official participant of NaNo. Though, I plan on writing some this month. I wish you much writing success!!! ✍🏻 2y

CocoReads Thanks for the tag. I did sign up and even have about 2000 words in but I‘ve had a bad week, compounded by tragedy (I‘ll try to make a post about that later, once I pull myself together for more than 10 minutes). So the long story made short is—I started but I‘m not sure I‘ll continue. 2y
TK-421 @CocoReads I‘m so sorry to hear that! Sending love & hugs ❤️ 2y
TK-421 @julesG Thanks! Hope to see you next year for Camp or Nano 😊 2y
TK-421 @CrowCAH Thanks! Good luck with your writing! 2y
julesG @CocoReads sending hugs!!!! Lots! 2y
BookmarkTavern I‘m working on it! I haven‘t done it in a few years so we‘ll see how it goes. I‘m inglebooknook over on the website. 2y
RainyDayReading I‘m low key participating this year. Not sure I‘ll hit 50k since I just started a new job and I‘m exhausted. But I‘ll try! Seems like weekends are going to be my best bet for getting caught up. 2y
TK-421 @ozma.of.oz My Nano name is Vaaren. I‘ll send you an invite to the group! 2y
TK-421 @RainyDayReading Even if you don‘t hit 50k, just writing at all is an accomplishment when you‘re going through the challenges of starting a new job! 2y
RainyDayReading @TK-421 That‘s how I‘m trying to frame it! Especially since this is a job I want to keep for a while so it‘s important that I do well starting out. But I‘m definitely being inundated with plot bunnies 🤣 2y
jb72 I haven‘t done much writing this month. My plan is to set a smaller goal and start on Monday (one week). 2y
TK-421 @jb72 glad to hear you‘re moving forward with a new goal! 2y
JazzFeathers Thanks for the tag. I am in and on track... At the moment. Aiming to finally finished a project l worked at during NaNo since 2016 😶 2y
TK-421 @JazzFeathers That‘s awesome! I‘m also working on an ongoing project (from 2014) but I‘m behind. 2y

wanderinglynn Progress is awesome! 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 2y
JazzFeathers It's only the beginning. There's a lot of time to write a lot of words 😊 2y
TK-421 @JazzFeathers Lots of time left! I‘m sure I‘ll get back on track 😊 2y

Full of great advice on the writing and revision process, particularly for self published authors such as myself.

I really enjoyed the included exercises and examples of topics discussed. Some I plan on continuing with well beyond the time I mark this book as finished.

I‘d recommend this to other writers because there‘s never harm in reading any book on your craft and maybe this will provide you with some tricks that you had not yet heard of.

Happy #Preptober! Is anyone else participating in the #Preptober #PhotoChallenge over on Instagram? I‘m doing it on my account, bell.book_n_candle
It‘s going to be my fourth #NaNoWriMo but it‘s the first time I‘m really participating in Preptober! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 that it works out well for me! I‘ve pretty much been a #pantser up ‘til now! And let‘s just say, it‘s been a bit of a hot mess each year! Good luck to all the #NaNoLittens!

wanderinglynn I‘ve never done Preptober because I‘m a pantser! 😆 4y
the.bookish.valkyrie @wanderinglynn lol, me too! But since it doesn‘t seem to work to well for me, I thought I‘d give Planning a try! 4y

Great job breaking down the revision process and what issues to look for and how to solve them. I highly recommend it!
