This is a very powerful, eye opening book I think everyone needs to read. It‘s very tough to talk about, but it makes you think about race in a way I‘ve never thought about.

It also meets a lot of my challenge requirements.

#pop18 #popsugarchallenge2018 - a problem facing society today
#Booked2018 - Diverse nonfiction
#ReadHarder - An essay anthology
#ReadingWomenChallenge - An essay collection

Cinfhen I really admire JW!! She׳s such a gifted writer. 6y

Finished this book today! I really enjoyed the story. I love Diana and Leigh Bardugo‘s writing.

#LRC & #pop18 - book meant to read in 2017

LoverofLit I really liked it this book too. I think Bardugo really did justice to WW. I can't wait to read Marie Lu's Batman and Sarah J Mass's Catwoman! 7y
Laughterhp @LoverofLit I‘m not sure if I‘m gonna read the Batman one.. I‘m not a huge fan of him. I‘m planning to see what other people think first! 7y

I‘m catching up on some categories for the #popsugarchallenge2018 and I hadn‘t read this one. I chose it for allegory and I was really impressed. Classic children‘s stories are so much more meaningful than we give hem credit for in life. #belovedread #quickread #classics

books_from_my_shelves Love this book so much!💖 7y
ashesofabookdragon @myreadingcorner I enjoyed it! It started a little confusing but then drew me in~ 💕 7y

Have you read the Perks of Being a Wallflower? I call this my Perks Pile. These are some of the books I own mentioned in the novel. These are book recs by Mr. Anderson to Charlie. Already read the first four books on top. Will start over reading To Kill a Mockingbird this year for my #popsugarchallenge2018 and The Fountainhead will have to sit and wait in my bookshelf the next few years. 📚

KellyHunsakerReads Perks is my son‘s favorite. 7y
CaliforniaCay One of my all time faves! Nice looking stack. I've only read a few myself, but I definitely added every book mentioned to my tbr after reading it. 7y
js0315 Absolutely love "Perks". There are only two of this pile that I haven't read. ? 7y

It took me awhile to devour this world because I don't want it to end. That was a jaw dropping twist to cap off the duology. Take me to Ketterdam. Give us more of the Grisha world Leigh B. Just wow 🙌
