If you are going to feel stuffy, sweaty & gross & work anyway because you work from home, might as well haiku about it! 😉🤧
Stuffy, wheezy mess—
no camera day at work.
Sweat clings to jammies.

A good attempt at explaining fundamental physics for thickos like me. Still too many equations though 🙂
Heard this classic on the radio today. The evergreen tree was once a family Christmas tree, planted in my backyard 70+ years ago.The rose tree I take note of when I walk my neighborhood- it is still blooming. Thought we could all use a little reminder, “It‘s a wonderful world.”

I rarely read nonfiction these days, but this was the perfect book to get me back into it - a popular history of everything, from the beginnings of the universe through Earth's formation and the appearance of life right up until the present day, told through a series of mind-boggling facts and statistics that had me following my poor family around saying, "Did you know...?" incessantly for the past two weeks. ?

No matter how hard you try you will never be able to grasp just how tiny, how spatially unassuming, is a proton.
I‘ve been in a funk of anxiety and depression and doom scrolling for so long. I am ready to retreat into books again. Got these two books with my birthday gift card. I am going to make an effort to stay off the cesspool of social media (except Litsy of course!) and see if I can reignite my passion for reading.
If Bill Gates enjoys this author‘s work, I should too, right?!?😅 Actually, it was Bill‘s reviews that inspired me to add these to #MyNeverendingTBR. 🙃

I really wanted to like this book because astronomy is one of my "secret" fascinations. But it fell very short. It starts off ok, and my only confusion stems from a European sport Idk about but later the author references diagrams in the physical book...which kind of defeats the purpose (imo) of the audiobook. If anything, this is more of a companion to the physical. In conclusion, I understood almost nothing bc I couldn't see the diagrams ?
1. I refuse to eat canned soup, except for Campbell‘s Tomato Soup. I‘ve pressure canned my own chicken soup, for those times I‘m too sick to cook but NEED chicken soup 😁
2. I always drink from cups with lids, even at home, because I‘m a klutz.
3. I don‘t wear jewelry or makeup

Thanks for the #TLT tag @Cuilin 🤗
My quirk is having to explain my quirks so much!!! 🤦🏻♀️
1️⃣ I have a *thing* about not ending my reading at Chapter 13 which means if I need to stop I either must do it at Chapter 12 or I read through to Chapter 14.🤷🏻♀️
2️⃣ The last bite of anything with a crust (sandwiches, pizza, bread, etc.) needs to be the center part or have no crust on it. Homemade pie with good crust is the only exception.🥧
