This 1943 classic modernist novel by a queer author is stranger than I had expected, and also funnier. I‘m still not sure I understand what it was about—Women breaking out of society‘s cage? Women conquering their fears?—but it‘s never boring. Also, I enjoyed the prose and the oddball characters. #puzzling #LGBTQ

I've been #audiobook #puzzling for the past hour while Ghost is napping on me.

This book nearly became a "bail" because I just couldn't stand how much the MC loved ler late Daddy, who was perfect and loved his Princess so much. ?

Then the plot twists started coming in and I'm glad I stuck to it - which is also because of Fiona Hardingham's wonderful narration.

I'm giving this 4 stars out of 5.

Puzzling while watching Lucifer, an adaptation from the character Lucifer Morningstar in The Sandman. Loved The Sandman. So far, I‘m really enjoying Lucifer.
