I Spy Treasure Hunt: A Book of Picture Riddles | Jean Marzollo

For those of you who like planning ahead - the 2025 #ISpyBingo challenge is now available on Storygraph!!!

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) which, like most of my challenges, are pretty loosey-goosey haha

But the basics are that items can be found anywhere on the outside of the book (front, back, spine) unless specified otherwise. Any item can be either a picture of that item OR the word (so a candle or the word candle) unless the item is listed in quotation marks, which means you have to find those exact words.

You can do one board a month or work on all 12 the whole year. Or you can be complicated like me and start each month's board on the first of the month, but give yourself an entire year to clear it to keep things fresh 😁 ⬇ 3w

TheAromaofBooks @willaful - Thank you!! I had wayyyy too much fun picking backgrounds, and Canva does a thing when you are picking your font color where it has several colors that are IN the background, so I got to have matching fonts, too 😂 3w

Two bingos, an excellent month for me! But how irritating that I read two graphic novels this month that showed pictures of students with tons of objects on the cover and neither of them had a laptop or scissors or a freakin' apple. One didn't even make the board!

So I've fallen a bit off the bandwagon with the #ISpyBingo challenge this year, but here is December's board - anyone is welcome to participate!!

I have refreshed this challenge for 2025 and will be posting 12 new boards!! I seem to have lost the tag list for this challenge, if I ever had one (lol) so please let me know if you'd like to be tagged with the 2025 boards coming as soon as I finish getting this challenge loaded onto Storygraph. ⬇

TheAromaofBooks @Clowjick came up with the idea for this challenge and I cohosted with her last year, but she's busy with real life these days and has told me I am free to take over the challenge so here we are 😂 I'm pretty stoked about the 2025 boards as I really enjoy this challenge.

At any rate, feel free to use this one for WinterGames or just for fun. Every book can mark off more than one item. These items need to be on the cover of the book, can be on ⬇ 3w

PuddleJumper Yay another board! I'm doing the whole challenge as a year long thing rather than month by month. I wouldn't get any of the prompts that way. Got 184/300 so far 😅 3w

TheAromaofBooks @PuddleJumper - I've been doing the same thing. But I think next year I'm going to start a new one every month, but give myself a whole year to clear it. So I start January on 1/1/25 and have to be done by 12/31/25, but February starts 2/1/25 and has to be done by 1/31/26. I cleared sooo many prompts in January/February/March last year and then the rest of year hasn't been as fun 😂 3w

Sarahreadstoomuch I enjoy the #ISpyBingo too, but I‘m not great about posting my progress. As much as I meant to start a new board each month and go back to complete older ones, I totally forgot and will do a better job in 2025! I see your wrap-around approach, or really a year for each board… and I might do that too…. Depends on how my logs line up! lol 3w

LiseWorks I love the#ISpyBoards but really can't finish them in a month, so I have been working on them. I have Jan to July all done. I can't wait for the Dec 3w

IndoorDame It‘s mostly a rest and recovery weekend for me with a bit of housekeeping thrown in so I‘m super excited that there‘s a new season of Call The Midwife to keep me entertained! Loving my current buddy reads The Flight Portfolio and The Hotel, but looking around for a new read-at-your-own-pace book. 3mo

Read4life Relaxing and planning for next week. My daughter has her MRI so we‘re going back up to her to meet with the doctors again. I‘ll need to pack and get some things done at home. I also had to move Dr appointments to the beginning of the week so my M-W are now very busy and then the 7 hour drive. Audiobooks are my friends 🤓 3mo

“The Fellowship of Puzzlemakers” was a cute and cozy read about finding yourself and new-found family that was immersed in the vast field of puzzles. I enjoyed this story, and I found that it is a great light read that is also heartwarming.
