Cosy but unrealistic romance!
I think this is my favorite book of Abby Jimenez. So sweet and such a beautiful love story of two people from different worlds. 5 🌟

A very satisfactory read, despite the abusive parents and ex (so, yes, sometimes I had to walk away for a while). This was a story of the love of a lifetime, the kind we all hope for and yet is rarely seen. Alexis and Daniel meet after her single car accident. The magic of the town enfolds them as they begin to discover each other, but are they strong enough to surmount the obstacles standing in front of them?
I hope everyone enjoyed pickle day yesterday! I finished Part of Your World which I enjoyed despite the act 3 break up. My Libby hold for Reasons to Stay Alive actually ended before I got to finish it (this always happens to me because I am always reading too many books at the same time 😅) but I was able to get a print copy from my library that I will finish today. #36by36
I absolutely LOVED this book. It is my new favorite.
It was so funny, so sweet, and so wonderful to read. I highly recommend it... actually, this series has been awesome so far.

This is one of the best romance books I‘ve ever read!! Still obsessed with Abby Jimenez and her humor 🙌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was really good on audio. I fly through this and am ready for book 2. (Also on audio for me)
I truly liked both the MMC & FMC. You pretty much know what you‘re going to get from most romance books but it‘s the journey the author takes you on that makes them enjoyable. Jimenez writes a good journey.

I read this in a day. Less than. After waiting on hold for weeks. This author can be very funny. This one has a baby goat. In pajamas.

Jiminez continues to be a must-read author. I love how her romances are so much more than that and always dive into a deeper emotional storyline.
But Daniel is such a good love interest, and I loved watching their story evolve in this big city girl meets small town boy book.
I loved this! Looking forward to seeing her at the national book festival in DC!
Listen, let's just call this book what it is. A quick romance novel that keeps you reading because it is entertaining. It's like watching a Hallmark movie. Easy read for the beach. It's cute and funny. If you are looking for a light read about love, it is great 🖤.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was heavier than I expected but I really enjoyed it. You see the ending conflict coming from the beginning, but I still was invested to see how it would all play out.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A modern-day fairytale, a warm hug, a shot of serotonin. This series is pure loveliness. 🎧
A chance encounter brings prominent big-city girl Alexis and homegrown all American guy Daniel together in his tiny hometown. A most unlikely pair who face the trials of time, distance, and naturally…totally opposite lifestyle‘s. Gray‘s and Hallmark movie vibes thrown together with good laughs and some steam…yes please!!! I can‘t wait for the next one!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alexis is deep in dealing with the remnants of an emotionally abusive relationship, then meets Daniel accidentally. Of course he runs a B&B in a quaint town. Of course he builds furniture. Of course he‘s the mayor. But I was down for this opposites attract situation. Beyond the Hallmark-ish vibes were the very real issues of age, social, and economic gaps, and familial expectations. Super enjoyable! Jimenez has become a must-read for me.
I loved everything about this book. I devoured it in a day. The hero is amazing (thank you Abby Jiminez for writing men who are awesome because they do exist) and the heroine is strong and someone I rooted for 100%. The kind of couple and story that was true romance in my opinion. New fave of 2024. ❤️
4⭐
Okay, okay..I get the Abby Jimenez hype now!
🌃🦝🐐🐖
These characters are so lovely that you can't help but root for them to get their happily ever after.
I struggled a bit with this one because I read this right after Emily Henry's Book Lovers which had similar city/country vibes. Emily Henry is romcom royalty so Jimenez was at a bit of an unfair disadvantage 😬
✨I loved the magical realism elements of this though! ✨
“Grace costs you nothing.” -Part of your world by Abby Jimenez. #bookquote #currentlyreading. #BOTM.
Another great read by Abby Jimenez. It‘s the first book in the PART OF YOUR WORLD series and follows Alexis and Daniel. It‘s an opposites attract romance where city girl physician, Dr Alexis Montgomery meets small town mayor Daniel Grant when a raccoon runs in front of her and she lands her car in a ditch. In comes our hero to tow her out and they begin their journey. She doesn‘t think he fits in her world but she slides easily into his. *****
This small town romance was so sweet and so wholesome! Virgin River mixed with Grey‘s Anatomy, honestly it was right up my alley! I cared so much about each and every character, I felt they were so relatable. I loved the little bits of magic realism to make this feel like a real life fairytale. Abby Jimenez is quickly becoming one of my favorite romance authors! 4.5/5
This was a grown up version of Pretty in Pink and I was here for it! Alexis, a sophisticated, wealthy ER doctor, is left to uphold her family‘s medical legacy after her twin brother is disowned for marrying someone “unacceptable.” Daniel, a small-town carpenter/inn owner, is 10 years Alexis‘ junior, but sparks fly when they meet. They come from different worlds but can they make it work? This is my fave of Jimenez‘s books that I‘ve read so far!
I like to say things like “I don‘t read a lot of romance” or “romance isn‘t my jam,” but I‘ve learned that Abby Jimenez is absolutely my jam, so I‘ll be reading everything she has written or ever writes 🤷🏼♀️. I really loved this one, even more than Yours Truly and that‘s saying a lot.
My #BOTM came yesterday!! Getting my summer reading stack ready!! 🌞 📚
What did you choose?!

I was not prepared for this book to be funny AND sweet AND a deep exploration of abusive relationships AND have magical realism AND AND AND!! Abby Jimenez has me HOOKED. #contemporaryromance #romcom
This was my first read from Abby Jimenez and I sadly, I didn't like it as much as I wanted to. So cheesy. And most of the characters annoyed me.
#ItTakesAllKinds
The two books in the author‘s Part of Your World Series are #WithPhysician as 3 of the 4 main characters in them are doctors. 🩺 💉💊🩹❤️
I hope all of this author‘s books are as good as this one. I loved this so much. What a fun story with so many memorable moments and great characters. I loved the setting and the story and everything about it. I absolutely cannot wait to read the next book and get another glimpse into this world. Definitely hoping it‘s just as good!
I'm a hard sell on romance, if I know I'm guaranteed a happy ever after, you need to give me substance throughout to keep me interested and this book delivered.
I enjoyed the complicated parent / adult children dynamics, especially the mother / daughter relationship.
Also showcasing different forms of domestic abuse is a hit with me. Wonderful representation.

Two romances read last year, one YA & one adult, where they are #HoldingHands on the cover. 💙❤️💙
Like all of her books I read this very fast 🥺 because it so good loved it 😊
This was a really great romance read! I liked how the story incorporated some more thought-provoking elements, even amidst a lighthearted romance story.

This book had all the feels for me. It was sad, funny, and even made me mad a time or two. Loved the characters and was very happy with how things worked out. I have read other books by this author but this is my favorite to-date. 4.5⭐️
I finally dove into an Abby Jimenez book and may I say, she can write an excellent rom-com. She can make it hit your heart and soul. After this, I know for sure I will be after her other books. #romcom #cozyreads #fallreading #kindle #libbyreading
Ooh, I liked this one. And checked off my #bookspin early this month! Even got a few #scarathlon #wordsearch words too. I‘ll say that a couple of scenes were a little long/overdone and the ending was completely expected but I really enjoyed the journey. #spookyghostclub
This was adorable! I loved Ali and Daniel.
It was a nice, light read
A lot of spice 🌶️🌶️and a lot of feels! 😍😍 Not a life changer but I enjoyed the story a lot. I listened to in instead of read and my only criticism is that I thought Ally's personality changed somewhat when told through the POV of Daniel. Was a lovely beach read.
Why are Abby Jimenez books so good?!?! The laughter, the adorableness, the relatability.
Spent most of the day audio-cleaning to this super cute, feel good romance. Finishing up outside now that the sun is starting to set & it‘s cooling down just a little. I thoroughly enjoyed this (also LOVE Julia Whelan narrated books) and I kinda had a goofy smile on my face like almost the whole time. If you‘re in the mood for love, I definitely recommend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This book is the Hallmark movie my soul was craving. 😊If you love hallmark, and you love love, and happy endings make you cry, then you should read this book. It's super cute. #botm
We ended our trip with a sweet treat at Abby Jimenez‘s Nadia Cakes!
I really liked Alexis and Daniel‘s story! I read Yours Truly first which is the 2nd book in the series, so I knew they became a couple, but didn‘t know their story.
She‘s 38 years old, but I don‘t know if she always acts older. Her parents have way too much control over her life. Daniel is a lot younger, like 8 years, maybe 10. He‘s really great to her though and I loved their story.
Thanks @Eggs for the #WondrousWednesday tag! 🤗
1️⃣ Any of the U.K. locations in Jane Austen‘s books or from her life. Or back to London for a non-work trip. So many favorite books are set there.🇬🇧
2️⃣ The one I just finished (Flowers in the Attic reread), no, but the tagged book that I finished before it is a fun rom-com, so yes! 💙
3️⃣ I just started The Kiss Murder for #DiverseCozy but have about 5 books going right now.📚
Want to play? 😉
I mainly put this one on hold on Libby because I like the author‘s TikTok videos & then my hold came in & I needed something light & fun this week. I enjoyed this. It‘s a sweet romance that has heart & humor while still addressing some big issues like mental & physical domestic abuse. Plus there‘s a dog (modeled after the author‘s husband‘s hunting dog Tess) & even more adorable, a baby goat in a sweater.🐐💙 I‘ll read the next one in the series.
Another TikTok book, written by Stuntman Mike and Tess‘ mom!
I absolutely loved this one!! My first read by Abby Jimenez!
