I liked this a lot. The pacing and atmosphere really did feel like an episode of the show. I'm sure there are some nitpicks I could make about the plot, but I read this in just a few hours and enjoyed it thoroughly, so that's good enough for me :)

Rose is one of my favorite companions. Her storyline broke me, but I enjoyed seeing more about what happened after that through this comic. My only complaint is with the art style. I just didn't like it at all.

This is a wholehearted pick. A lot of fun, really captures the Ninth Doctor era for me.

120/150 Meh. Not one of the better Doctor Who adventures I've read. It was fairly predictable, despite some timey-whimey shenanigans on the part of the Doctor and Rose to avoid any time/space destroying paradoxes. 3 ⭐

vivastory This title reminds me of the Stone Roses, who I have been listening to lately 🤣 2y
Andrew65 Well done 👏👏👏 2y
RamsFan1963 @vivastory Listening to the Stone Rose's would be more enjoyable than reading this book, trust me 🤣 2y

Rose carefully dropped three pound coins into the large collecting box at the entrance to the British Museum.

This was sort of a riff on Treasure Island with aliens and monsters. Fast and fun, but not one of my favorites. 3.5 stars ☠

I just love these hardcovers. I have a stack of them. Easy reads!

In the TARDIS Rose is having a nightmare about a monster & child.

The Doctor & Rose end up in a fishing village in the UK & help a community where monsters abound while children are sleeping.

Maybe your typical mad scientist is resurrecting an evil ancient alien?

If you love these books then you‘ll enjoy this one too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

I snagged the last 4 tens that I needed to finish my set off Thriftbooks. Unlike the last one I got from them, none of these have bites taken out of them. 😁

Laughterhp Are the books good? I think I‘ve only read 1 or 2 doctor who books. Ten is my favorite doctor 3y
Traci1 @Laughterhp I really love most of them. Having different authors, some of them are less good. Usually because they don't get the characters just right rather than story issues. Ten is my favorite too (with Donna, especially), with Nine and Rose a close second. The good thing about them is they don't need to be read in order, so you can pick any of them. 3y
