I found this audiobook on Scribd! So far the narrator and story are good. It‘s been on my shelf (#BOTM selection) for months also. The love it‘s getting from Littens is motivating me. Plus it works for either #scaryread or #setinschool (I need both!) for #booked2018.

Oh I loved this novella. It was an unexpected chilling treat after reading a much sweeter story from @BeckyWrightAuthor A fabulous tale based in history and present day. A witchy tale of past wrongs coming back to haunt the present. I read it in the middle of the night from beginning to end which added to the scare but also left me rather suspicious of my wardrobe! #mustread #scaryread #novella #fantasy #darkfantasy

Great passage I read this morning on the bus in MZD's tome, "...Or maybe even the words in the book have been area and in such a way as to make them practically impossible to read." If you want a truly creepy, dark, "what in the world did I just read," give you nightmares book this is it. A witch is haunting a town, but get this...her eyes and mouth are sewn shut. If that doesn't creep you out then I don't know what will. Perfect read for this time of year too. It takes place mostly in November and December. For #AllHallowsRead, my current favorite #ScaryRead is the short story "Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers" by Alyssa Wong which, as a matter of fact, just won the World Fantasy Award this weekend! Making Alyssa the first ever Filipina to win a WFA!! This story has great prose and plenty of creep. I hear that @Kat_Howard is kinda into #shortfiction as well...
