Great evening last night with fellow Democrats, raising money for our local organization and candidates. Former Acting Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, was the speaker. He talked not just about the topics of his book, but also about getting involved and having hope. He did no trash talking, but lots of straight talking about the current administration. Great night!

I found a signed copy and though I was not gonna buy books until I read the recent purchases, I could not pass this up. I have a signed copy of Speak, and I‘m so excited to add this beauty to the shelf next to it. #signedsunday

Well, that was a lucky surprise for St. Patrick‘s Day. I need to read this for #booked2019 #irishauthor and finally have the spot in my “reading schedule.” Imagine my surprise when I pulled it off my shelf and found this. (I might have let an “f-bomb” fly.) Inscribed by the author—and to someone named Barbara. I am gobsmacked, because this was a book sale find. I‘ll bet I paid $1 for it. ☘️☘️
