Entertaining slow burn romance featuring a strong and (very) silent man and the woman who got him to talk (a bit). My only complaint is that the 🌶, when it finally happened, was disappointing. But maybe that‘s just me. Thanks to @TheSpineView for putting this one on my radar.

Frankie‘s the head of Ren‘s hockey team‘s social media. So, asking her out is out of the question. That‘s until she considers leaving for another job. Will he be able to tell her out he feels?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one was so cute. There were some funny parts. I also liked the disability diversity. There could‘ve been a little more spice.

Loved this book read it twice last year.

Another slow burn romance from Mariana Zapata.

This was about a young woman who accompanies her brother's band on tour to sell merch.

Famous soccer player, Kulti, is mentioned a few times...

Since I liked Kulti so much, I went ahead and stocked up on more books by Zapata 📚

My favorite book in June was The Wall of Winnipeg and Me (tagged) by Mariana Zapata.

I love that this was a slow burn because it highlighted both Maribel and Wesley's anxiety's, their dreams, wants, and they were able to communicate them and to each other which added to the overall cuteness of this book for me.

Plus the dialogue was really good between them, even the arguments, were not just valid but helped push the storyline and had them opening up and figuring out a lot together.

I loved this nearly as much as I did the (tagged) previous book. The Bergman family is fantastic! Ren js a pro hockey player who is secretly in love with Frankie, the team‘s social media manager. She is on the autism spectrum and doesn‘t pick up on the clues that he is into her. Ren is gentlemanly, respectful, and obsessed with Shakespeare. I adore him! A little steamy for my taste (usually) but I love this family so much that I didn‘t even care.
