The alibi really throws everything off. The mystery is solved with a little shocker in the end. Close quarters Well, the poor victim is held in close quarters.

#TasteTest:TropeEdition @Clwojick This Mystery novel had all the tropes in it. The detective with daunting past, the Romance, the red herring, close quarters (Steak outs) Then unlikely victim, which ends badly. The alibi and they really outsmarted the criminal. Who knew? But I really wanted to know why he did it. 😕

I‘ve been looking for a new way to tackle my TBR and nail down what tropes work for me, so welcome to #TasteTest: Trope Edition. Please join along!

Excited to taste test some romance, mystery, thriller, fantasy, and even horror tropes. By nailing down my favourite tropes, I should be able to pick out books better curated to my tastes, and therefore have an increase in 5 star reads in my future. 💙
