#TasteTest:TropeEdition @Clwojick And here is another mystery that fills most of the tropes. We definitely have romance budding between two characters. We have the red herring for sure. The alibi really throws everything off. The mystery is solved with a little shocker in the end. Close quarters Well, the poor victim is held in close quarters.

Clwojick So many tropes!! 14mo

Book 2 of #SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView The continuation of the series of our 6 people that have found each other and are trying to survive in the new world. There are new characters.I can't believe how people are acting with looting and being nasty to each other.#SeriesLove23 @Andrew65 I would not classify this as a horror, but it does have the end of the world trope. There is evil out there.People are monsters.#TasteTest:TropeEdition@Clwojick

#TasteTest:TropeEdition @Clwojick This Mystery novel had all the tropes in it. The detective with daunting past, the Romance, the red herring, close quarters (Steak outs) Then unlikely victim, which ends badly. The alibi and they really outsmarted the criminal. Who knew? But I really wanted to know why he did it. 😕

Rolled the numbers for #tastetest tropes today, so that I can start researching books. Any ideas? (Especially for Zombies!) @Clwojick

CatLass007 How about this book? The author seems to write only books about zombies. 1y

jenniferw88 The subtitle is 'A Marcus Didius Falco Mystery' so using this for #tbrtarot @CBee as I doubt it'll happen otherwise for August! 1y

@Clwojick has a new way to tackle your TBR with #tastetest

I never think about tropes when I read so I have no idea what I like. I know what tropes I like in fanfic but they don't transfer over to actual books 🤣

Repost for @Clwojick

I‘ve been looking for a new way to tackle my TBR and nail down what tropes work for me, so welcome to #TasteTest: Trope Edition. Please join along!

Excited to taste test some romance, mystery, thriller, fantasy, and even horror tropes. By nailing down my favourite tropes, I should be able to pick out books better curated to my tastes, and therefore have an increase in 5 star reads in my future. 💙
