The nostalgia! My mom came across my collection of SVH and sent them home with me. I intend to donate them to my kiddos classroom library, but I am going to enjoy them for a few days first.

3/4 ⭐️
I am sure the kids today would have a lot of criticism about this book, but I enjoyed the world in which being popular, overcoming shyness and getting a special boyfriend were the biggest problem the main character faced. Late 70s early 80s cultural references were a bonus.
Sophie works for a local florist shop & is applying for fashion design after high school. She has to attend all the events in town, but so does Andrew, the new chef‘s son. He tends to get on her nerves in the beginning, but throughout the year, she starts to not mind it.
3.5⭐️ This 1 was a little boring and I didn‘t like the characters very much. It was cute & funny here & there, & I liked the ending. I wanted a little more romance.
That was one cute, wonderful book! I don‘t know where this Maurene Goo reading rush came from, but I don‘t regret a second of it.

This is a super cute romantic comedy appropriate for all ages. I loved the dual points of view and found both Jack and Lucky to be charming and hilarious. The chemistry between them was very believable. It‘s a fun read!
2✨ Not my favorite. Love triangles, characters using others just because, and lack of communication that really only teens can pull off. #SeriesLove @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
Hello everyone. I am on my annual “Yay we survived cancer!” Cruise with my sister. There has been spotty Wi-Fi so it‘s hard to post. I will be back on Sunday and can help with any #jolabokaflodswap questions then. Comment below if you need anything.
Here is an iguana I met at the Tulum Mayan ruins the other day.
My Princess Warrior and Junior Miss….this is the 1941 edition my library had. It was a breath of fresh air, simple, family oriented, set in 1930‘s Manhattan. The protagonist is Judy who is 12-14, I believe, in the span of vignettes. Quick, nostalgic read.

I loved this scholastic book when I got it in elementary school. Thanks for the reminder that sent me down memory lane @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
