@Librarybelle is celebrating her #Thankful40K litfluence with a giveaway and has asked us to show her our favourite mystery.
A hospitalized, bed-ridden inspector sets out to discover the truth about Richard III and the murdered “Princes in the Tower”. I read this years and years ago and think it might be time for a reread!
Congrats, @Librarybelle ! 🎉🎉🎉
And thanks again to @rubyslippersreads for this amazing bookmark. ❤️
Nearly impossible to choose my favorite mystery, but Tana French‘s first book is a contender. #thankful40k @Librarybelle
I would have to say this is my favorite mystery. It kept me guessing until the last couple chapters and the ending was satisfying. Thank you @Librarybelle for the chance to with another Agatha Christie book. And congrats on reaching 40k!! 💜 #thankful40k

Thanks for the generous giveaway @Librarybelle ! My favorite mystery is also my favorite mystery series. I love the English setting of the books and Flavia is a favorite character. She is smart, clever sassy and dabbles in poison.
For me, the best mystery novels blend various genres into one eminently satisfying whole. My absolute favourite is DuMaurier's Rebecca. The first time I tried to read it, I was spending a month apartment sitting an empty apartment, with only a mattress on the floor for furniture. I found the eerie, gothic tone too much for the circumstances. But I picked it up again years later and absolutely loved it.

Congratulations @Librarybelle 🎉🎉
I wanted to share these mysteries that I read this year! Aunty Lee‘s Delights is a cozy mystery by an author from Singapore. The Shape of Water is a mystery set in Sicily and translated from Italian. Both are the first of a series and include descriptions of food!
