Everyone is really going through it in this 1, but Ciri in particular is back in focus &proving herself as she searches for the Tower.
Still irregular pacing, cliffhanger, multiple POVs & things told from different times, which is not the most cohesive. But was very entertaining.
Took me long enough to finish it. But i really did enjoy it.
The ending of this one is very satisfying (even though there is quite a bit left open for the next couple books). I‘d taken a big gap between this & the previous installment & it did take a bit to get re-orientated but then the pace picked up. Like the vampire, Geralt & Dandelion‘s banter (as always) I don‘t think the series does well at keeping the pacing evened for each character since the short stories.
Enjoying the sun with my kiddos and nephew. Its supposed to be 80 this weekend, which is not normal for where i am. Lol but we will take it!
This is another book club choice. It‘s a quick, fun read 🙂
I read and listened to this one. I got a bit confused switching time periods but loved the adventure and the wit. Since this was translated from Polish I can‘t help but wonder how many jokes I missed that just don‘t translate into English, my guess would be a fair amount.
