#TLT #ThreeListThursday @dabbe (Thanks for the tag!)

38/100 this time, most of which I read post-schooling. At one point, my favorite authors were Ernest Hemingway and Charles Dickens.

Faves:
1. The Haunting of Hill House
2. Housekeeping (although I prefer her Gilead)
3. Kafka on the Shore

dabbe #s 2 and 3 are now on my TBR! I read HILL HOUSE every October plus watch the 1962 movie. LOVE! Thanks for playing and sharing. 🩶🩵🩶 2d

3½ ✨

I just flew through this one.
It focus on how Darin and Spiro met, and how Laia became her grandfather's apprentice.
It's not as action packed as the first one, and started off a bit slow.
My book order finally arrived and I'll start A Reaper at the Gate tonight, but in the meantime I needed a quick fix to get me in the right mindset, and this hit the exact right spot.
I'm now super stoked to get on with the series.

This was a sweet cozy mystery. It was fun to be part of the animals‘ woodland world, and the mystery kept me guessing. First in a series, and I will read more.

Like several other Littens, I chose this book as my January #ThematicCozies #Animal pick.

Thank you, @Chrissyreadit for sending this to me as a swap gift! 💙

Another riveting compilation of shot stories each showing us a bit more of the man behind the white hare and wolf medallion.

I especially enjoyed the last two stories, but I'm bais because I love Ciri. I adore her feisty sprite and determination.

I am however now more than ready to be done with the short stories and be immersed in a full length novel

I think I need to get out more! My score was 34/108 and I was pretty generous with the definitions. Things on the list that I‘d like to do:
1. Attend a murder mystery dinner
2. Celebrate New Years Eve in another country
3. Pamper night

#AuldLangSpine2025 @monalyisha
@JamieArc thanks for creating this excellent list! I haven't read any of these. It looks like we both exchanged Percival Everett picks - I'm excited to read James based on the buzz it's been getting. I have some ideas about which I'll choose - definitely North Woods and Tom Lake. I've never read Due, but I just bought The Between last month. Also intrigued by #s 9 and 10. Can't wait to get started in 2025!

squirrelbrain What a great list! ❤️ 2mo
monalyisha I‘m desperately hoping to read 10 with my IRL book club this coming year. We‘re in the process of voting on books right now, so fingers crossed! 🤞🏻 2mo
Billypar @monalyisha I never even heard of it until now, but it sounds like it's getting a lot of positive attention! 2mo

JamieArc @monalyisha @Billypar The Safekeep is a fairly short read, if that helps you get to it 😊 2mo
BkClubCare Oh. Just got to the last section of The Safekeep 😳😳😳😳 2mo
Billypar @JamieArc My attention span and reading speed are both not great, so short is definitely a selling point. And I'm intrigued by @BkClubCare 's reaction to the end 😀 2mo
BkClubCare @Billypar - I am listening and honestly it doesn‘t feel like a short book. I am not done yet - but yeah, this last section was not expected (also, I try never to read blurbs and didn‘t know anything about the plot) 2mo

This is me being SUPER EXCITED to dive into @peanutnine ‘s #AuldLangSpine list. I‘ve already read and loved #s 1, 3, 6, 8, and 11, and I‘ve either requested the others or added them to my library list, depending on their current availability. Alas, my library doesn‘t own #s 12, 17, or 20, so I‘ve wishlisted them on Kobo in the hope of Boxing Day sales.

willaful Oooo, great list! 2mo
xicanti @willaful right? 2mo
MeganAnn This looks like a fantastic list! I‘ve only read Gideon the Ninth but so many of these are on my TBR. 2mo

peanutnine I'm glad you're excited! We have such similar tastes, I love it! We had two of the same picks on our list 😆 Hopefully you can find some deals, especially for Yield - since you've read and loved Rowland's other works I think you'll be sure to enjoy it 2mo
xicanti @peanutnine I‘ve got my fingers crossed. 2mo
xicanti @MeganAnn I think it‘s gonna be epic. 2mo
