I read this picture book every winter to my little readers, it is just beautiful, has tracks in the snow and reads like a poem song.

In the snow
is a big pile of
delicious seed.
Look!
Who is coming to eat it?
Can you spot them all?

When the pile of seed
gets smaller and smaller
and day turns to dusk
and it gets
colder and colder,
who will bring new seed for the hungry animals?
Look closely!
Who is coming now
in the snow?

🐌 A sweet little children‘s book about direction and perspective, to help little ones understand things like “up, down, through, into, over,” etc.

🐌 Bonus points because it features a snail (my spirit animal guide and one of my favorite creatures).

This RF by Lindsay George is a fun and mysterious book. It is about two kids trying to figure out whose footprints are on the snow. They go on an adventure and try to find out where the footsteps leads them. This book is fun and can be used for RT because it is exciting and get‘s students involved.

Animal tracks?!?!? Nope, hand prints from the littles we took on a short hike this morning. 😂 They pelted my spouse with snow every few steps.

This was a favorite of 2017, and I remember that the characters often returned to the train tracks on the bridge. A pivotal scene takes place on the tracks when the main character makes a decision about the innocence of another man. #tracks #nuyear

I finished this book just in time to use it for today‘s #nuyear prompt, #tracks. I thought Whitehead‘s depiction of the Underground Railroad was very interesting. He took a lot of different liberties as far as history goes, which didn‘t bother me. It is fiction after all. I kept wanting to see what happened with Cora next, although I was also terrified for her. #booked2018 #pocauthor

Songs like American Pie by Don McLean, Brown Sugar by The Rolling Stones, Baba O‘Riley by The Who & biggest of all, Stairway To Heaven by LED Zeppelin. It also happens to be the year I was born, which makes me a legend too. Rock on dudes!🤟

Here a Cardiff /London train journey leads to two strangers starting a conversation, their attraction has dramatic consequences.
