This poor girl had to endure so much at a young age. Heartbreaking but well written and intriguing story that will stick with me for awhile.❤️

I like all different kinds of mystery books, but especially procedurals with a hint of romance. #sundayfunday
I hope the coming week is better for you @BookmarkTavern
This cozy mystery was enjoyable and a light read. I enjoyed the characters, especially the Standard Poodle, Captain Haviland. This novel brought up mixed feelings about development on the coastline. The writers group individuals were each in the process of trying to write a book. Cozy mysteries are what I refer to as “fluff” meaning they for fun. I gave this a 4/5 stars
Lawrence is having a tough time at his new school, getting into trouble for fighting although he‘s not the one instigating. When he gets expelled, he starts spending a lot of time at the community rec center meeting new people and learning chess.♟️

Snow Day are the best words to a teacher. Curling up to finish my first winter read while my kiddos still sleep. Not looking forward to shoveling 🥶 #XmasChaCha #wintergsmes2024

⬗ I had sworn off Megan Miranda after a string of disappointing books. So, I guess the FOMO was bad because I decided to give this one a try, and hey, I actually liked it. I think it‘s even her best yet. It has loads of tension, family secrets, and an ending that took me by surprise.
⬗ The narration by Inés del Castillo was performed quite well.
