Dexter is still wickedly funny, which is the most important reason for me to continue listening. When he stops being funny, I stop listening.
I LOVE this author! If you need chills grab something by him. It will mess with your head a bit. But still give you goosebumps! #scarathlon2023 #scarathlon #mischiefandmayhem #scarathlonphotochallenge day 19: cemetery/Grave
1st book in the #joyousjanuaryreadathon and also #setieslove2023 I‘m still reading Little House in the big woods and will probably finish that tonight as well. Goodreads tells me I read this before but I sure didn‘t remember it! Kept me guessing the whole time, so that was good. @Andrew65
The absurdity of the killings that Dexter and Deborah are investigating made this very entertaining. Bodies are showing up in elaborate displays at famous tourist locations in the city. There are a few tense moments in this one that I wasn't expecting and Dexter has been reunited with his Dark Passenger which keeps things interesting.

Dexter has a #Secret identity that gets harder to hide.
So, being a fan of the 1974 grindhouse classic film Death Wish starring Charles Bronson, I decided to read the little remembered novel upon which it was based, and oh boy, this was a knockout! Brian Garfield‘s Death Wish I think represents my favorite kind of literature: it‘s fun and engaging to read, but also well written and thoughtful. One of the best books I‘ve read recently.
