It was harder than usual, but I managed to make a #BookSpin list for November - knowing full well I‘ll be lucky to read even one of them. But with kiddo starting physical therapy and, hopefully, getting back to speech therapy, maybe I‘ll have a minute or two.

AnnR Your comfort reads sounds like a good idea during this stressful time. Hope things are better soon. 1y

Made a few quick lists for #Scarathlon2022. The #watchlist especially is incomplete because I don‘t enjoy scary movies—but I‘m sure I‘ll find a few more mysteries/thrillers to watch this month. #tbrlist #bucketlist #teamslaughter

This is my #Top21of21. I‘m not too pumped up about my list after 15 but the top 6 have all my heart. 💜
Looking back, I am disappointed that there wasn‘t a lot of armchair travel but I‘m happy that I read more books than last year.

I will be squeezing in another book or two. Making this list is always fun. Thank you for tagging me @batsy @Ruthiella

Ruthiella Girl, Woman, Other is a favorite of mine from last year. ❤️ 2y
Cinfhen Gorgeous penmanship 🌟🙌🏻and a really wonderful list 🤓 2y
batsy Your handwriting is lovely! Also Venetia, Howl's Moving Castle, My Cousin Rachel, The Paying Guests, Cold Comfort Farm—I loved them all! Great list 💜 2y

BiblioLitten @Ruthiella It left a lasting impression… especially characters like Bummi and Hattie.💜 2y

batsy @BiblioLitten No, I haven't but it's on my list! 2y
LeahBergen Du Maurier, Gibbons, and Heyer. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 2y
BiblioLitten @LeahBergen Gibbons was borrowed but I‘m going to buy a copy for myself. So good! 💜 2y
Bookwormjillk Cutting For Stone is on my list too. 2y
BiblioLitten @Bookwormjillk I love books with a good characterisation 🙌🏼 2y
Cinfhen Cutting for stone is on my all time favorite list!! 2y
BiblioLitten @Cinfhen I read this during a life transition and that‘s why I am particularly partial to it. 🙂 Glad to know you love it too. 2y

Chelsea.Poole Lovely handwriting and great list of titles 😊📚 2y
BiblioLitten @RaeLovesToRead Right! 🙌🏼 2y
BiblioLitten @Chelsea.Poole Thank you 💕 2y
BarbaraBB A fantastic collection of books. Americanah was my favorite book of 2020! (edited) 2y
BiblioLitten @BarbaraBB That book changed the way I looked at things! I love Adiche‘s books. Purple Hibiscus is an all-time favourite. 💜 2y
BarbaraBB Is it? That‘s good to know, I‘ve planned to read it next year for #ReadingAfrica2022! 2y
marleed I was surprised by how much I loved My Cousin Rachel. Hamnet was not on my radar until last week when it became my public bookclub pick for Jan 22. I‘m so excited to read because I keep seeing it on so many top 21‘s! 2y
BiblioLitten @marleed Same! Exquisite writing ✨. I hope you enjoy Hamnet too😊 2y
merelybookish What a wonderful, eclectic list! Love many of your picks including Howl's Moving Castle. 2y
BiblioLitten @merelybookish Thank you 😊 I was telling my brother (who is a Potterhead) that Howl‘s is such an underrated book and everyone should read it. This was published in 1986. I can‘t believe I didn‘t know it existed until a few years back. 2y
merelybookish @BiblioLitten Don't tell your brother this but I think Rowling is the poor man version of Diana Wynne Jones. She is a much better writer! 2y
BiblioLitten @merelybookish He thinks invisibility cloaks, mandrake roots, and whatnots are her original ideas🙄 I like HP but there‘s more to the world than that. 2y
DivineDiana Happy that I have read #4 and #5 on your top 6! Now adding the remaining four titles! 2y

Hi @Reggie just for your amusement at my list obsession. 🤪 So this is TBR Book Number 2 which I started writing in 2007. It has 98 pages with about 28 books per page. I stopped adding books to it when I started using Litsy. The first book I had for my TBR was larger and I wrote smaller and it had 70 books per page 😳😳😳 I had about 35 pages left but I went through and revised it by at least half and put them on Litsy.

Suet624 That‘s fantastic! 3y
AlaMich I had nowhere near as many on mine. I started putting them into an old app I used called Notebook, and now I use a spreadsheet. 3y
LeahBergen Love it! 😆 3y
See All 8 Comments
Ruthiella Such neat hand writing! I currently have a spreadsheet but that‘s not quite the same as a written artifact. I wish I had something physical. 3y
Centique @AlaMich a spreadsheet is far more sensible and useful! The number of double ups I found in this was incredible. I remember one book was in the list 8 times! 😂😂😂 3y
LauraBrook Love this!!! 3y
Reggie This is amazing! Holy wow! 3y
Rissreads I wish I had kept a list of books I‘d read during the years. But better late than never! I‘m so grateful for Litsy! 2y

Trying out a new bookish app I learned about at a #jolabokaflod virtual gathering last night. It‘s called Read Rally and it‘s designed to help you track what you‘re reading. So far it‘s very simple - andeasy to use. I probably won‘t use this all the time - but it‘ll be good to keep track of the longer term (chunksters) and kindle book reading. It‘s relatively new and I bet the developers would like some Litsy love & feedback 📚😍 #readrally

I couldn't help putting together my own list thingie... Featuring my list of favorite books I read and reviewed on my blog during 2019. Do we share any favorites? 🤔 115 to choose from, and there are even more technically but I got tired of having to add some of them manually. 🙈😂

vivastory When I took this quiz, I was thinking "I bet Jenni will kill it" ????? 4y
UwannaPublishme Yep, I knew you‘d break records on this one. Way to go! 🙌🏻 4y
sprainedbrain @vivastory I‘ve read more of these than I have the 1001books 🙃 I did see several that are still on my TBR, but many, many books that I will not be reading. Ever. 😂 (edited) 4y
See All 23 Comments
vivastory Yeah, I'd read more than the 1001 books & I definitely won't be reading Who Moved My Cheese 🤔🧀😂 4y
sprainedbrain @vivastory so many kids books! And Sarah Dessen and Jodi Picoult and Nicholas Sparks. I do believe I will stick to 1001. Hahahaha (edited) 4y
vivastory I guess it was based off of number of Goodreads reviews, so definitely a mixed bag. I was pretty happy to see Scott Lynch's Lies of Locke Lamora. I don't remember if you've read that one, but if not I highly recommend. 4y
sprainedbrain @vivastory I have, maybe even on your recommendation. I loved it! 4y
vivastory It's brilliant! I still need to read book 3. He keeps delaying the fourth book. 4y
LeahBergen I would‘ve done MUCH better on this if I read Nicholas Sparks. 😆😆 @vivastory 4y
Daisey Wow! That‘s a hundred more on this list than I have read, although good point in it being more than I‘ve read from the 1001 list. However, I agree I‘ll be sticking with working on that one. 😂 4y
Butterfinger I knew you would do well. 4y
GondorGirl 313 here! It's such a random seeming list. I wonder how they made their choices on which books to include. 4y
Palimpsest I only read 157, or better than 69% of users of the books they chose. A few I bailed on, and many I have no desire to read, but it still was a fun quiz. Thanks for sharing! 4y
sprainedbrain @LeahBergen Clearly we should branch out? Or not. 😂 4y
sprainedbrain @Daisey that‘s still a lot! 😃 4y
sprainedbrain @GondorGirl it is very random! Scott said that it had something to do with number of Goodreads reviews. You had a bunch, too! 4y
sprainedbrain @Palimpsest That‘s a lot! There are quite a few on there that I don‘t ever plan to read. 😬 4y
Liz_M Proving my obsession with the 1001 list, I've read 412 of the popular books, which is less than half of the 1001-list books I've read. 4y
sprainedbrain @Liz_M we didn‘t need proof! You‘re my 1001 hero. 😊 (I‘m at 194 of those). 4y
readordierachel Hot damn! I only got 156 😆 4y

TheBookAddict I read 115 and I also own a lot of the ones I haven‘t read. 4y
TorieStorieS That was fun!! Thanks for sharing!! I‘ve read 296, but own more of these that I have yet to get to! 4y
HannaPolkadots Thanks for sharing! So far I have read 294, but just like @MaleficentBookDragon I own a LOT of the books 😅 4y
TheSpineView I read 153. A lot more classics than I realized. My score was not higher because I read a lot of indie and small authors and also lots of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. I have at least 100 books on my TBR list there were on the survey. 4y

This is fun for booklist geeks: LitHub combed through many "best of 2019" lists, and tallied the titles named most frequently. It's embarrassing how few of these I've read, although in my defense, it's almost all fiction and I've read a lot on nonfiction this year. Thoughts? #bestof2019 #booklist https://lithub.com/the-ultimate-best-books-of-2019-list/

Emilymdxn That‘s so interesting! I always hope I‘ll have read more books on these lists than I have lol 4y
