Sooooo... this is what happens when your television and Wi-Fi services are down on a rainy Sunday. You read an entire book in a couple of hours 😊 a great way to continue the #readorama 😊 2 books down!
This one's a cute little guy!

The first book I finished for the #readorama, and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. Really loved Simon and it's pretty impossible not to root for him!

"Once upon a time, a boy learned how to have fear."

This was a cool book, although sometimes it was a bit too much (everything happens to Lumikki), the story just flows nicely and overall there's a good vibe to it.
My first time with this author and I am actually very curious about the second book!

Reading this one and thanks to a night filled with insomnia, I'm less than 100 pages to finish it. Liking it a lot, but hoping that these last 100 pages make the story a great one and not be the death of the book.

What an amazing second volume to a series I'm dying to finish. Unfortunately the books are not available in my country so it will take a while before I an able to buy them all... but still, what an awesome world and twists!

By the end of the book all I could think about was how everyone gone mad, but still it's a beautiful story and I sure hope to keep reading Joane Harris' other books.

Leniverse Oh, what's this?! An Anne Bishop series I haven't read? 😮 7y
NadiaBatista @Leniverse :) it's a series called The Others, and the first volume, Written in Red, is from 2013, I believe. It's absolutely genious! Everything this woman writes is pure perfection 7y
Leniverse Heh. I don't know. The later books in The Black Jewels series were not up to par, and I didn't quite get on with Sebastian (although I might give the Ephemera series another try as it might have just been my mood at the time). But I will definitely check out The Others. 😁 7y
NadiaBatista I finished my journey with Black Jewels this past week... but I really love everything that the woman writes. As for Ephemera... for me, it's her masterpiece. One of the best universes I have ever read, but I'm totally a fangirl og 7y

It has been 8 years since I read the first book of the Black Jewels series. Yesterday, I read the last one. 9 books and from the first I was completely in love with the world, the characters and the author. It was a hard goodbye... but I promise I will return in a few years.

And so the last book for #darkathon is here. I still have to read a horror tale, but as for the full book, this is the only that's left. I hope it is a nice read, since the two other books for this marathon weren't that enjoyable!
