Wrap up for the #Deweys 24 Hour #Readathon. 16 hrs & 2 mins, finished two books (one e-book, one audio) & got 20% into a 3rd book (audio). This is the most time I think I‘ve ever read for this event. The audiobooks helped to keep me reading while I ate & did a few chores. I stayed away from social media for the most part, to keep distractions to a minimum, & I chose books that were fast paced (with the exception of Beartown, so far). #deweyoct

I wasn‘t sure about continuing this series after the last book, but this third Aurora Teagarden book was fantastic. Aurora tries her hand at real estate & the bodies pile up. I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery & it reminded me of the books through which I became a true reader. I did need to remind myself of when these books were written, as there are a couple of references that today are insensitive and made me cringe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 #serieslove2023

Is anyone else doing #Deweys 24 Hour Readathon? I‘ve been so busy lately and have only had minutes per day to read. I cannot wait to dedicate my entire day and evening to reading tomorrow. I just got my #readathon books set tonight, focusing on #serieslove2023. No snacks planned, but I don‘t need them. Taking a break from book award short- and long lists this weekend.
Tomorrow it's time for #Deweys 24-hour #readathon again, and I have compiled a #tbr of one seasonal read, three short books, a graphic novel, and lastly two page turners to keep me awake. Will I get through them all? Doubtful, but I will sure try! 😁 (And I have the bank holiday Monday too.)
