An intriguing read about hostage negotiations and other interesting situations.
This was a fascinating and informative read. I enjoyed the storyline and characters as they developed. There is so many interesting factors that I can‘t pinpoint where to start, but that would be giving away the book, so I‘m suggesting that everyone read this so they can enjoy
I don‘t understand why some reviewers said this was just okay… I really love reading Ali Hazelwood‘s books because they are not just romance but have substance which makes you think and understand different points of view. I really loved this and will always purchase her books as they are always beautifully written
Enjoyed this read, he has other books I love so while it was an adventure it wasn‘t a fast paced one
This was a great way to finish a book series… still love the characters and the storyline I hated to see some of them go but overall a great series… I know that he has other books out and I‘m wondering if they are related to these three and who will be included in them. I am looking forward to reading those in the future (as I have to purchase them first)
While normally the second book is a filler to expand on the story and sometimes not that well written… I have to say that (although some of these aspects are utilized) this was just as well written and I enjoyed reading this just as much as the first book … this also expanded on the characters and brought more information and interest in what will happen next
Why do I really really like Glokta ? Could it be that he represents a quality to understand others through his pain or because he just keeps going even though he‘s in pain??? I keep asking which it is but I‘m really enjoying his character
This has been on my tbr for years I don‘t know why it‘s taken me so long to read it. I really loved the interaction between characters and the storyline. I don‘t know where it‘s taking me but I‘m happy to be along for the ride. I‘ve ordered the next book and hope it comes in today as I can‘t wait to continue with this series
Book mail … I‘ve been waiting for this one but I‘m on pg 391 of the blade itself so it goes to the tbr pile for now 📖
Okay so I‘m just on chapter 3 and I am really enjoying this idk why I had a hard time with the first chapter before… it‘s a lesson in just sticking with it to get going 🤣📖
I‘m so excited to share 📚☺️ received my Broken Binding Malazan special edition books 🥰🥰🥰. There so amazing 😍❣️
This was so good loved it … I really enjoyed the way the chapters were written and how it all still blended together beautifully… from beginning to end this just kept getting better
Finished last night with this collection of short stories loved 10 of the stories while the others were okay… I have some great new authors to explore and some amazing authors that I‘ve already read… I can‘t wait to read more by the authors I really enjoyed
Surgery sucks… but I‘m getting a lot of reading done … so that‘s a plus
Okay so I‘m trying this immersion reading I was told about… and rereading nevernight I downloaded the audible and I noticed the narrator said Marius not Adonai … in that book is said his name was Adonai on every line and his sister Marielle … when I looked at my SE it says Marius what am I missing 🧐
It‘s interesting how different books can be especially if the writer is coming from a different part of the world I liked this even though some words are different it was an interesting read
I enjoyed this … and there‘s more in the series so plus for me
Really enjoyed this mystery and I‘m looking forward to reading the rest in the series
I really love how the characters change and grow throughout this series… I‘m not going to give away to much but I enjoyed and loved it … I‘m tempted too reread the whole series
This was an okay for me… maybe because … I can‘t spoil it for everyone so I‘ll leave it there
Although love can be beautiful Steven Erikson‘s description also fits as I have seen every type of love he describes… I‘ve also seen lasting beauty in love … this description though, hits, and it is why I reread His books there‘s always something to find
This was okay but it‘s not a book I‘ll keep on my shelf
Really enjoyed this as it was a completely different concept and it was super easy to read definitely a recommended read and I‘m looking forward to more books by this author
This would be great if I like gaming… but I‘m a reader so it was good and had some great content
Exchanged some books I didn‘t want or had doubles of at Powell‘s Books and picked up these … love when I can do this 📚☺️
Visited a new bookstore yesterday and just wanted to share it as it‘s so cute inside and the owners are so friendly great store if your ever in Camas, Wa.
Really enjoyed this and I‘m happy to find another author that I can get more books to read

I didn‘t post this on here yet but just wanted to share my total books read from 2024… I‘m hoping I can read this many this year 📚🙂
I‘ve had to think about my review for this as it is so emotional… I will only say that you have to read it and it is one of the best I‘ve read of 2024…. On this first day of 2025 I‘ve come to the end of this trilogy and can‘t wait to read more books by this author (that I haven‘t read already)
What can I say that‘s not new about my love for Nora Roberts books … this was from the first page to the last… loved Bodine and Cal and all the rest of the characters… if you want a book that you can‘t put down I say pick this up …
