La Celestina, though a Spanish book, is a very dark, witty version of Romeo and Juliet with twisted matchmaking. A red velvet cupcake and a hot chocolate make all the drama more fun.

These are some books that I read while in high school. They ended up having such a special place in my heart and recommend them highly!
