Waiting in the dentist office while the middle child gets his braces on. Might as well start another book. #currentlyreading
There isn‘t any one thing I can put my finger on as to why I enjoyed this so much. I devoured the whole thing. It is an example of storytelling and writing at its best.
Time to see why the library‘s waitlist is so long. #currentlyreading
Trying to get as many pleasure reading books in as I can before it‘s back to school. #currentlyreading #librarybook
This book was AMAZING!!! It makes you sad, then happy, then sad for being happy. It is an incredibly moving story. #finished #augustlongweekend
Working full time with three kids and working towards my degree part time is seriously hampering my reading time. #currentlyreading #roadtrip #thedinner #hermankoch
It was an okay story but seemed predictable and generic. The characters, despite the themes, lacked depth. Glad it was an audiobook so I didn‘t spent as much time reading it.
I found this story really good until the end. The ending just seemed to go on and on and on - to the point I was just wanting her to stop talking.
First ever audiobook. Sure makes the hour drive to and from work feel shorter. #audiobook #commuter #eleanorandpark
The story itself is quite far fetched but when you look past that, it was a quick, enjoyable read
I thoroughly enjoyed #thegoodgirl so I am hoping for the same with this one. #everylastlie #marykubica #librarybook #currentlyreading
I honestly began thinking I wouldn't enjoy this book. That is until I started reading. The writing is amazing. I would 100% recommend this book.
Time for a new book #allthelightwecannotsee #anthonydoerr
At first I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it, but I was happily wrong. The story flowed and Ove is amazing. Definitely recommend this book.
And done. Only two days. Quick read for sure.
I read the 1st 1/2 of the book prior to hearing Stuart Knight speak and I had a difficult time feeling like he was genuine more like someone trying to sound hip & cool. I read the second 1/2 after hearing him speak on this subject & I realized that he wrote in his voice. There were some good points about types of questions to ask to have powerful conversations but overall it was very repetitive. Not sure I would have read this if not for work.
Maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't overly impressed by this book. It was an okay read but I found the protagonist, Sarah, got on my nerves and I had a hard time getting past it.
I spent most of the book confused.....but a good confused. My mind kept coming up with different possibilities for how the story would turn out. A definite page turner. I had it finished in a couple of days.
Hey Macklemore. Can we go thrift shopping? Thrift store finds. #thriftstorehaul
The beginning of a long weekend #canada150 #happybirthdaycanada #canadaday
This is what happens when all your library holds come in at the same time #libraryhaul #whattoreadnext
It started as what seemed to be a quirky work of fiction - along the lines of #Commonwealth or #TheNest and then suddenly did a complete about face. It seemed to be two different genres smushed into one book. Having said that, it was still an okay read.
Maybe not the most 'literary' quote, but... so descriptive! #sincewefell
