pickI thought this book was cute. It was definitely what I expected - a light read by Anna Faris about her career and life that was easy to listen to and not heavy. I enjoyed it!
pickI finished this one up today before work got too hectic. It was cute and fun.
so-soI found this interesting in the fact that it was cool to hear about her life and career. I didn't know she had a podcast called Unqualified where they talk about relationships. She did a few situational dialogue readings and a few podcast caller advice readings that got sort of old after a while.
She seems like a pretty down to earth person and so it was fun to learn more about her but I'm not sure if I would read/listen to another book by her.
panI really like Anna and was hoping to hear more about her career, working on Mom with Allison Janney, etc. but it was short on career and long on her sex life. Too much information. Her career would be much more interesting for her fans to read about.
so-soI‘ll try and get over the fact that Chris Pratt didn‘t even read the foreword HE wrote, but it did make me raise my eyebrows when she gushed over what a good relationship they have post divorce. Mhmm 🤔🙄 Anyways, I struggled with this. She spent the first 10 mins talking about how horrible she is at writing and how she doesn‘t know why anyone would let her write a book or read it. Not the most promising beginning that led to a overall “meh” book.
Stack 1 of my TBR list for August from the library. I may be a little ambitious as there's more to come!

I. Love. Libby. 😍 I couldn‘t sleep last night, so I was looking for an audiobook. The ones I own that are unread are complex and heavy stories. This isn‘t bad, but they weren‘t what I was in the mood for. I hopped on to Libby to see what they had. I love Anna Faris - despite being cast in “dumb girl” roles, she‘s incredibly smart. She‘s also very funny.
It‘s her book on dating/relationship advice, and I can‘t wait to see where it goes.
so-soI like Anna Farris and think she‘s a good actress, but I would describe this book as TMI about her sexual experiences and no where near enough about her experiences on the acting jobs she has taken.

so-soI like Anna Faris. She is funny and smarter than she is usually given credit for. But this book was confusing. Believe me - I get that marriage is not a straightforward good/bad, happy/unhappy kind of thing. But this book felt like a love letter to Chris Pratt and their fantastic marriage, which had ended by the time the book was released. Continued in comments.
panSoooo...I must say I was pretty disappointed in this book. 😌I have nothing against Anna as a person, but a writer she is not. This was a weird mix of random topics and unsolicited advice for hypothetical situations. Also, reading about her perfect marriage to Chris Pratt is so disheartening, knowing they separated right when this was released. Wouldn't recommend this unless you are a huge fan of hers. 2⭐️
so-soI really wanted to like this one more. I really like Anna Faris, but this book is just so so for me. A good part of it is in the timing, I think, since she talks a lot about her marriage to Chris Pratt.
pickI am fairly picky about celebrity memoirs, because they can irritate me with their never-ending pleasure in themselves. This one just made me wish Anna Faris was my neighbor. Funny, smart, kind - a great read.

so-soThis was a fine continuation of the chatty Faris‘ podcast subjects. Good read for people less than 40 years old.
so-soI like Faris and enjoy her podcast but her book was a bit lackluster. It‘s also weird to read/listen to her wax poetic about her marriage when she announced her separation just before her book was released. Not a bad listen but not one I‘d recommend, either. Fans will enjoy it but if you‘re lukewarm on her, skip it. #readharder2018 #celebritymemoir
pickI finished this ebook this morning, and decided to share some of my favorite quotes instead of a regular picture. While I don‘t think Anna Faris said anything that hasn‘t been said before, her personal stories made that okay. Very charming and sweet and hard to put down.

Anna is great and real. But I don‘t think she should have been given a book deal. Make sense?

pickAdmittedly, when I heard about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris ending their marriage, I was bummed, but also curious about Anna‘s memoir. I‘m so glad I read it. It was smart, funny and charming. Despite her celebrity status and high profile relationship, at the end of the day she‘s a funny, down-to earth woman just doing her best to raise a great kid and get through the day as well as she can.
pickFor me, celebrity memoirs usually get a gracious pass — I get a kick out of a good, light-hearted read, and so I usually just give them a good review. This one is no different. I adore Faris and have been following her podcast from the beginning, so it was a blast to hear her voice here in book form. She doesn‘t really touch on the announcement that she & Pratt are separating, so heads up if you‘re looking for details or gossip there.
This is a fun one, I‘m enjoying it. Still sad about her and Chris Pratt ending their marriage, but I digress. I think I should get into her podcast of the same name. Anyone else listen to her podcast?
pickI love Anna Faris and her book makes me love her even more. She is very smart and candid in this book with lots of words of wisdom from her experiences. I found that she as very open about personal situations, like her son's health issues and her own personal growth. She's someone who I would love to have as my friend.
