A very fun graphic novel! I loved the art style, and the flow of the narrative was intriguing. I used to watch the Wizard of Oz movie, and this filled in so many gaps! I've never read The Wizard of Oz. After reading about the author's pro-Native-American-genocide stance, I probably won't read it. I probably will keep reading these graphic novels, though! They seem like they're probably a good adaptation. #Comic #Adaptation #ClassicLit

Skottie Young‘s Art is beautiful and enchanting, and the graphic novel retains the same storyline and much of the dialogue as was written by Baum. A must read for any Oz fan! #BookSpin

Read this with my 4yo son over the course of the past month at bed time. He enjoyed it, and I was surprised he wasn‘t scared by the content and images. He loves the movie, so I‘m sure that helped a lot! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This is a classic story for children. The plot is so fun and it teaches a great theme. The language is entertaining. The characters are very interesting.
