pickBook 3 down for my #GNReadathon and it‘s a good one! This graphic novel is brimming with cheese & cheese puns. It‘s a sapphic story about “Count” Camembert who is really a girl but has to dress as a boy because girls can‘t inherit their father‘s fortune. She falls in love with Princess Brie & is pals with Lady Gorgonzola & Lady Ricotta. 😁 The artwork is great & it‘s a story about friendship, love, gender & acceptance. And. So. Much. Cheese! 🧀5⭐️
pickFirst up for my #GNReadathon are 2 of the bad kitty graphic novels. I have a fondness for black cats because of my cat Chipper 🐈⬛ and I read some of these board books to Jace and thought they were funny. So I grabbed these 2 from the library. As a cat lover there is lots to relate to here about cats not wanting to take a bath 😆 These are great for kids 8+. 4⭐️

pickPardon the poor quality picture but Chipper my cat model wasn‘t cooperating. 😆 I guess it‘s a cat kind of day for me. This was recommended to me on National Cat Lovers Day and it‘s a nice slice of life manga about Miyu & her cat, Chibo. Can‘t go wrong with cats! 🐈⬛ 4⭐️

pickThis is a review for A Man & His Cat Vol 6-10. This is THE cutest freaking series and if you love cats then you have to read it. If I could sum the series up in one word, I would say J-O-Y. 😻🫶🏻 5⭐️

pickI had never read any manga until I recently picked up Cat Massage Therapy (THE freaking cutest thing I‘ve ever seen!😻) and loved it. I came across this entire series in a section called Librarian‘s Pick and this is equally adorable! Calling all cat lovers, Chipper gives 2 paws up! 🐾 5⭐️

pickI‘m slowly working my way through my library‘s supply of Anne of Green Gables retellings. In this one, the parallels were not quite as clear for all of the characters but I still ended up enjoying it. Chipper approves. 👍🏻 3.5⭐️

pickThis is a beautiful book filled with gorgeous pictures of Prince Edward Island, many of them taken by LMM herself. I don‘t think there is anyone who is better at describing scenery than LMM and she has such an ability to transport you to another time. Highly recommended for fans of Anne, LMM or even if you just love flowers. 5⭐️
